The Paulos Circus at Darts Farm, Topsham

I can’t remember the last time I went to the circus so I was so excited when The Paulos Circus invited us along to watch the show. To me a trip to the circus is such a fun family experience and Paulos Circus definitely didn’t disappoint.

Paulos Circus

When we arrived we made our way to the ticket office where we collected our tickets and we’re told that we could sit anywhere we liked. We went on Saturday at 2pm so it was quite busy but we still managed to get seats on the front row of one of the stands.

I don’t think it would’ve mattered where we sat though as it was really well laid out so that wherever you sat you would get a great view of the acts.

On the way in there were stalls selling popcorn, candyfloss and flashing lights for the kids.

The show kicked off with an amazing acrobatic duo who really amazed the audience with their high flying tricks. My little girl couldn’t take her eyes off them and told me they were really flying lol.

In between each act, Mr N came out to entertain everyone with his silly antics. My little girl loved Mr N and sat there giggling every time he came out and told me she thought he was really funny.

My little girls favourite act apart from Mr N was the double act who wowed everyone by changing their outfits multiple times. She kept telling me about the ‘big lady that changed her dress’ and saying “wow”. To be honest I was wowed too, I honestly don’t know how they do some of the outfit changes.

I don’t want to spoil the show so won’t say too much about the rest of the acts, but the finale act ‘ring of death’ (or spinning wheel as my little girl called it) was definitely an act you watch with open mouths!

The show ran for about 1hr and 10mins and my little girl managed to sit still the entire time which definitely shows how into it she was, she never sits still! When the show finished she even started clapping and asked to watch it again!

As you can probably tell we really enjoyed our trip to Paulos Circus and will not hesitate to visit the circus more now I know how much my little girl loved it.

Paulos Circus is on till the 9th of July so you still have plenty of time to go and check out the show for yourself. Shows are on Thursdays & Fridays at 5pm & 7.15pm and weekends at 2pm & 4.30pm.

All tickets are £7pp but if you get one of their flyers from Darts Farm or download one from the Paulos Circus website, you can get £2 off each ticket.

Let me know if you have been to watch the show or if you are planning to in the comments below.
